What You Need
• You need to be 20 years old when you arrive to your pub site.
• Some customer service experience. Hospitality experience is best but not essential. Full training can be provided on site if you have retail, fast food or other cash handling experience.
• An arrival date! We arrange a pub job for your arrival so we need to know when you can start. Flights and Visas are your responsibility and must be arranged in advance. Do not wait for your job details to book your flight or arrange your visa or you may miss out on the job you are after.
• The more advance notice we have that you coming the better job search we can undertake. Make your travel arrangements at the same time as applying to us and confirm you arrival date as soon as you can. There is no point us offering you a job you can't take, it's disappointing all round.
• You will need to speak with one of our Aussie reps who have been through the program to make sure that it is right for you. No one can better inform you of the process than someone who has already been through it. Your travel agent does not know what it is like to work in a pub, but we do.
